It would be convenient if the Ravenna ASIO driver was named with "ASIO" in the driver name.
Specifically when selecting driver in an application like vMix, where both WDM and ASIO drivers are supported and appears in the same drop down list.

It could be that Anubis input is balanced and the phone output is unbalanced stereo.
Try an adaptor from the phone with two mono teleplugs into ch 3 and 4 on Anubis.

I have the same error when "boost" is enabled on mic preamp 1. Probably a bug.

You can set Ravenna as input to the AES/EBU outputs directly in the HAPI in blocks of 8 channels.

Long time since I used Vegas, but could it be that Vegas releases the audio driver in when the application is in the background?

Do you know why they dropped support for older processors?
It's the only application I know of that has done that! (except the 32/64 bit transition)

If it stops you from getting your job done, get a RME card with digital out and connect to your Horus. It will work, and you can carry on with your work.
Later come back, and hopefully the VAD driver will be improved.
