Hello Merging community,

Has anyone been using Avid S1 with any version of PMX? Any information would be helpful. The S1 is not listed under "supported" controllers on Mergings Confluence page.

Im under the impression that VST3 is not stable in PMX. Do others concur with this sentiment? I am using VST from various companies: Softube, Flux, Brainworx, etc... Found that the VST's will fail if I add one during playback. Adjacent VST's start stuttering and generating noisy tones. Any insights ...

In regards to daisy chaining AES67 capable speakers: Does the IEEE1588 PTP V2 protocol compensate for delay to ensure synchronous playback in all loudspeakers in the chain?

FYI- I discovered that its common practice for clock manufacturers to compensate for the prop delay of the Satellite transmit and the clock receiver. So you can precisely sync multiple distant locations.

I see what you're saying about GPS time base changing with altitude. So the two clocks will never be in perfect sync. As they say, a person with two wrist watches never knows what time it is :) So you run the risk that if clock B is faster than A, then B will try and play packets that are not ready ...

Hello, Doing a design and would like to hook up two HAPI's or Anubis over AWS or Google Cloud Platform. Has there been any testing done regarding HAPI over WAN? Essentially, the ports targeting the WAN would need to be Unicast. How would the PTP packtes handle that? Please let me know at your earlie...
